1.Essential Cookies
These are needed for PubStudio to work at all. They handle things like security, load balancing and remembering the page you are on. The service cannot function without them, so they cannot be switched off in the app.
2.Authentication Cookies
When you sign in, a secure token is stored in your browser so you stay signed in as you move between pages. Clearing your browser storage or signing out removes it, and you will need to sign in again.
3.Functional Cookies
These remember small preferences that make PubStudio nicer to use — for example your last selected tone, an open panel or a dismissed tip. They are not used for advertising.
4.Analytics Cookies (optional)
With your permission we use analytics to understand which pages and features are used, so we can improve PubStudio. These are off until you accept them, and are never used to sell your data.
The analytics providers we use are:
- PostHog — product analytics and pageviews, hosted in the EU. Everything you type is masked, and we never send captions, prompts, feedback or email addresses as event data.
- Vercel Analytics — aggregated visitor and page statistics from our hosting provider.
5.Marketing Cookies (optional)
With your permission we use the Meta Pixel so we can measure how well our Facebook and Instagram advertising works. It records a page view and, if you create an account, that a registration was completed.
The Meta Pixel is not downloaded, does not run and sets no cookies unless you accept marketing cookies. We never send your email address, password, pub details or any content you create to Meta.
6.Cookie Management
You are always in control:
- Choose Accept all, Reject non-essential or Manage preferences on our cookie banner
- Change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer, or the account menu inside PubStudio
- Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its privacy settings
- Signing out of PubStudio clears your authentication token
- Blocking essential or authentication cookies will stop you from being able to sign in
Analytics and marketing cookies are switched off until you choose to accept them. Rejecting them does not limit anything you can do in PubStudio.
